Event description

The EdTechTeacher iPad Summit returns to San Diego, February 9-11, 2014, at the San Diego Convention Center. This year’s event features NEW conference strands, session types, and Pre-Conference Workshops plus inspiring keynotes and presentations.

Pre-Conference Workshops

February 9th is a full day of hands-on Pre-Conference Workshops. Come spend the day working with instructors from our EdTechTeacher. Check back often as we are always adding more exciting hands on opportunities.

Conference Strands

The February 10-11th Summit will feature sessions that align with our new conference strands:

1. Unleashing Student Creativity: App Smashing, Augmented Reality, Media Projects, and more
2. Leadership & iPad Initiatives: Designing & Implementing 1:1 or Shared Programs
3. iPads in the Classroom: Transforming Curriculum, Elementary Classrooms, STEM/STEAM, Special Education, etc
4. Workflow, Roll-Outs, & Technical Challenges: Technical realities of working with iPads

Sessions

During the February 10-11th full conference, in addition to our keynotes, experience:

•  Concurrent Sessions - “lecture style” presentations
•  Innovation Labs - hands-on, “workshop-style” experiences
•  iExpert Session - an opportunity to learn from individual as well as panel discussions

The Call for Proposals is OPEN!

Graduate Credit

Framingham State University will offer one (1) graduate credit to attendees who complete a set of requirements.

  • Dr. Alec Couros is an Associate Professor of educational technology and media at the University of Regina. He has given hundreds of talks on openness in education, networked learning, social media in education, digital citizenship, and critical media literacy.

  • - You will be directed to an Eventbrite Registration page requesting information for each attendee
  • - At the end of the registration form select "Pay by Check" to complete your order
International Travellers: If you will be using PayPal, you should first contact your individual credit card company and let them know that you will be making an international purchase. If you don’t, PayPal may reject your purchase as possible fraud.

Cancellation Policy:
Requests for cancellation must be submitted in writing to Ileen Matthews at ileen@edtechteacher.org. If you have to cancel, we will issue a refund (minus a $25 processing fee) until January 20, 2015 (21 days before the ETT iPad Summit). After that date, no refunds will be given.
